João and Laura have been going out for a few years. João has decided to live an adventure in Europe with two friends and he is telling Laura about this now. Listen to their conversation.

João – Queria te dizer que vou me ausentar durante algum tempo.
Laura – Em outras palavras, você vai me deixar?
João – Não, nada disso. Só vou passar uns meses na Europa.
Laura – Você vai sozinho?
João – Não, vou com o Paulo e o Ricardo.
Laura – Em que país da Europa vocês vão ficar?
João – Em vários. Quando cansar de um, passaremos para outro.
Laura – E a sua família já sabe disso?
João – Ainda não. Vou deixar para lhes dizer uma semana antes da viagem.
Laura – Por que você não diz agora?
João – Porque a minha família gosta muito de interferir na minha vida. Assim eles não terão chance.
