34 – Describing People
In this episode, we are going to learn the vocabulary related to describing people and the plural of words ending in –al, -el, -il, -ol and –ul. Roberto went to a party yesterday and tells Amélia what happened there.
Roberto – Ontem fui à festa da Mônica.
Amélia – E como é que foi?
Roberto – Foi ótima! Conheci uma gatinha lá.
Amélia – Como é que ela é?
Roberto – Ela é morena, magra e muito simpática.
Amélia – Ela não tem namorado?
Roberto – Acho que não. Mas me parece muito estranho uma moça tão bonita assim estar sozinha.
Amélia – Eu também conheci alguém especial esta semana.
Roberto – É mesmo? Onde?
Amélia – Na Internet. Entrei numa sala de bate-papo e conheci um cara muito legal.
Roberto – Que que ele faz?
Amélia – Ele é analista de sistemas e trabalha na IBM.
Roberto – Que chique! E como ele é fisicamente?
Amélia – Ele é louro, alto, de olhos azuis.
Roberto – Será que é verdade? Você viu a foto dele?
Amélia – Vi. Parece um artista de cinema. Já estou apaixonada.
