26 – The Weather
In this episode, we are going to learn the vocabulary related to the weather, more expressions with the verb FAZER (to do, to make), how to say “I wonder if” in Portuguese, and the plural of words with –ão endings. Célia is asking Renato about his vacation in Rio and the weather when he was there.
Célia – Como foram as suas férias no Rio?
Renato – Foram ótimas! Fez um tempo maravilhoso, com sol todos os dias.
Célia – Não choveu nenhum dia?
Renato – Não, só ficou nublado uma manhã, mas depois o sol saiu.
Célia – Tenho que ir ao supermercado agora. Será que vai chover?
Renato – Acho que sim. Eu vi a previsão do tempo na televisão.
Célia – Então é melhor eu levar o guarda-chuva.
